Alicia was an MMO game originally developed by Ntreev Soft, initially pitched in 2005-2008 as "Project Alice." Most concepts from this prototype, such as combat system in which the player could fight against monsters on horseback, were eventually replaced with what Alicia is most known for today: a Mario Kart-esk racing game. Ntreev's servers were online from March 2011 to February 2014. It would shut down due to decreasing player count and little income in order to maintain the game server.
